It is a Tuesday and time for my A Card A Week Challenge! This is my first card for May, with the new theme of embossing. I will use my Big Shot to emboss or grab my heat tool to do that kind of embossing--or maybe both on a future card!
I went with a brand new set of stamps that I recently bought from Cracker Box-So Suzy Stamps. They have some fun pairs of sentiment stamps that are a bit snarky for wishing someone a Happy Birthday. This one just made me smile, so it jumped in my cart! I inked it up both sentiments with Stampin' Up Bermuda Bay and layered with some bright beachy colors. The embossing folder I used is from Sizzix called Birthday 5 and features all kinds of party hats! I added a strip of Stampin' Up's Highland Heather Satin Ribbon. I think it is a pretty birthday card and I know many of my friends would laugh out loud if they received it!
