January Joy!

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image that I sent this month for Card #40!   All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!  Kelly will be up next for the February challenge, and I am sure it will be a fun image to play with.   Be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our January card, I inked up an Art Impressions image called Latte Love Set.  It is a fun bunch of ladies are all bundled up in winter gear, enjoying their hot beverages! I bought this stamp set a few months ago with a hope and dream in mind. I was looking forward to winter Camp Stamp-in-Oga along with the hopes and dream that both Kelly and Jeanette would be able to come to Wisconsin and join me.  And—it is happening!  I hope Jeanette and Kelly like my card. And, enjoy their time in Wisconsin in January--and that it snows during the time for Kelly, from Miami!

Love One Another

Here is my January Crafters of Faith card.  This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. This is our 13th month and I gave everyone this challenge:  Make a card or another creation that describes how "we" love one another--through friendship, trying times, music, holidays, etc.  I used this verse from John 4:12:  No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.  

I picked this verse as January is going to be a great month for me for showing love to one another as I get to spend a long weekend with some of my favorite stampers from SCS.  Three wonderful ladies are flying in to Wisconsin the middle of the month and will be joined by three other friends who are driving to join me at Camp Stamp-in-Oga.  This is truly a dream to meet Kelly, the creator of this group for the first time as she is coming from Florida--to Wisconsin in January!  I have spend some time in the past with the other 5 friends--Jeanette, Darlene, Carol, Terry and LJ, who are coming too--and we will all have a fantastic time.  My house will be Grand Central for the weekend and I am so excited to host these ladies!

I bought this great Altenew stamp just a few months ago at the stamp show in Schaumburg, Illinois and I thought it was a good choice for this challenge.

Friday's With The Project Bin

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every single Friday I will be posting a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! 2017 Cards in Review

Happy New Year ~ Welcome 2018!

So--what did I learn on my look back?

~~I love to use my Copic Markers and have patterned paper as the background on most cards.

~~I love sentiment stamps along with those that I do color with my Copics.  That is one reason that I just love being on The Project Bin-A Way with Words Design Team! I love the sentiments that Denise creates!

~~I posted 22 cards in February and March. There were no single digit months this year and I did have a few in the past.    I think I did pretty good this past year.

~~In the past few years, I have posted in this summary, that I used many similar designs on my cards and I needed to branch out a bit more, maybe using some sketches for inspiration.  I do think I did become more creative this year and I plan to do even better in 2018!
