Lavender Wildflower Bouquet

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image from Taylored Expressions called Wildflower Bouquet that I sent out for our August card, #96! That means we are in the middle of year number 7 with this fun challenge! All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!

I think this is the sweetest image and I have used it often for cards as there are also some perfect sentiments in the same set.  I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers.  I sent out some images that were die cut with the corresponding die as well as some on a quarter card front.  I used one of the images die cut. I added the get well sentiment and background layer that was punched with some very old Stampin' Up punches.  I always seem to need Get Well cards.........   The background is some sweet lavender shimmer paper from The Paper Cut--love the sparkle!  I also used one of my favorite embossing folders from Stampin' Up called Pinewood Planks for the background panel.  I added some purple bakers twine along with some Pinkfresh Studio Lavender Jewels for the final touch!   I hope Jeanette and Kelly along with you enjoy my card!

Here is the inside of my card, with a strip of the shimmer paper:

Please check out the other Musketeer's cards.  Here is the link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards!  They may post today or tomorrow, so be sure to check out their blogs for their card!  Jeanette is up for our September challenge.  Please be sure to join us again.

Barb this is an absolutely gorgeous card and you sent us a fun image to
color up. The purple is so rich and regal! It's such a vibrant color and really showcases the wild flowers beautifully. Thanks for sending a fun image!
