Your Next Stamp, Elle's Studio & Scrapbook.com Cards

Today is another day to post some cards from one of the virtual events that I just completed.  Similar to yesterday's post is another form of the Catch-up Club!  A few of my SCS and stamping friends, Darlene, Jeanette and Terry along with myself, have signed up for a number of virtual stamping events in the past 2 1/2 years.  One of the benefits of these events are that they are available to rewatch or even watch for the first time at a later date as they are all recorded. The 4 of us "try" to watch live and chat by texting during the event.  But, life steps in and there are times when one or more of us are not participating during the live.  Then, the kits from sponsors sits in our stamping area until we are ready to watch the video and create.  During one of the events, we decided we needed to push ourselves (and each other) to get some of these events done!   So--we all decided to devote one day a month, the last day of the month for the procrastinators that we are, to post cards we missed making.  They could be from a virtual event or maybe another challenge that was missed.

These 3 sets of cards are from the September 2022 Crop & Create Delivered, sponsored by Scrapbook and Cards Today.  This was the 5th event by them that I participated in and am signed up for my 6th in March of this year.  Even though I will be gone on vacation for most of the next one, I am still very excited as I know I will create from the recorded classes!

These 2 cards below were from the class by Meghann Andrew for Elle's Studio. This class used a fun stamp and die set called Best of Friends add on set.  It is so fun and easy to make cards with stencil bundles.  We embossed the floral stamps on vellum with white powder and then die cut each of them with the matching dies. The background flowers along with the flowers on the right card and the stripes were all cut from Elle's Studio cardstock.  There are a few sweet sentiments in this set that work with the word Friend!   I added some clear drip drops on each card.   I sure will be using this set often in the future!

These 3 cards were made from a fun Scrpabook.com stamp and die set called Hello Bloom taught by Laura Graff.  The top right card use gold embossing powder along with metallic cardstock on a vellum strip. There are Taylored Expressions Gold Drip Drops for added bling.  The top left and the bottom cards use sweet pastel colors with the fun die stamps and matching dies.  I added glitter enamel dots on those two cards.

The final 2 cards were made from a cute stamp and die set from Your Next Stamp called You Lift Me Up taught by Mari Clarke.  The backgrounds on both cards were ink blended with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks.  The sweet images were colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  The clouds and the globe were die cut. The sweet sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added glitter enamel dots on both cards.

I still have a few more classes in my zippered bags, just waiting for me.  So, I am sure you will see a few more cards soon.  I do plan to/need to get all of these done before my next box from SCT arrives!
